GymKhata is a workout diary by Baluwa Labs. A GymKhata account is optional: it keeps your journal backed up and the same on every phone. You can delete it at any time, in the app or by email.
In the app
- Open the menu and go to Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Confirm. The account and everything in it are deleted straight away, and any other phone signed in to it is signed out.
Without the app
Email support@baluwalabs.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject Delete my GymKhata account. If you signed in with Google, write from that Google address. We delete the account within 7 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in details (email address, Google account link).
- Everything the account held: journals, workouts, sets, exercises, programs, measurements and progress photos.
- Server-side backups of that data.
Copies in our routine server backups expire within 30 days of the deletion.
What is kept
- The data on your phone. GymKhata works without an account, so your journal stays on the phone until you clear the app’s data or uninstall it.
- Purchases. Google Play keeps them under your Google account, so deleting the GymKhata account doesn’t cancel a subscription or refund a purchase. Manage those in Google Play.
